Hoxie Thompson Auditorium

The auditorium originally was the main assembly site for the campus. Former President William Howard Taft spoke to a capacity crowd in the auditorium on May 25, 1919. Other notables ranging from Texas Governors William Hobby, Sr., and Pat Neff, to the magician Harry Houdini have also graced the stage.

The auditorium continues to host a wide variety of concerts, recitals, guest speakers, special programs and events.
