Evolving: Marriage for All “A Hometown Perspective on Sex, Politics and Religion”
Saturday, May 26th, the Rowlett Democratic Club will discuss Issues surrounding marriage equality, which is changing and at a record pace! What does it really mean for our friends and neighbors here in Rowlett? Is a shift in public opinion enough to affect real change for committed same-gender couples and their children? Come and learn how you can do more to support the equal treatment of LGBT families.

Daryn DeZengotita is a resident of Rowlett and a progressive activist. Daryn and her partner of 15 years have lived in Rowlett for the past 12 years. Raising their sons here, they take an active role in our schools and community. Before she became a busy mom and small business owner, Daryn held leadership positions in LGBT organizations, including the Dallas Gay & Lesbian Alliance, the Marcum Institute for Women’s Studies and participated in events for Human Rights Campaign and Lambda Legal.
