Hilton Bella Harbor Hotel

This hotel is the worst. My husband works for a Texas city that reserved a weeks stay here for a TEDC conference of about 300 people. When we checked in, the clerk, Tiffany, was super rude, she told my husband the city mastercard did not work. We knew it did but we were tired after a 4 hour drive and he told her we would call and find out what was going on. We asked her to hold my personal credit card until we called. My husband called the card co. and they fixed it immediately. He went back to the desk and told her,gave her his card and she ran it. Little did we know she had also run my personal card for over $800. We told her then to get it released. The next morning I checked and found she did not release it. I called, she said someone named Gabby had to do it and she would tell her. Again very rude. This started Monday 4/16. On Thurs.4/19 my husband checks his office voicemail and he had a call from this idiot, Gabby to his office number about our stay. She was hateful and rude. 2 hours later we get a call in the room from her. He asked her why she didn't call him in the room instead of waiting until after 5 to call the room and told her maybe she should check where she knew we were first. She was stupid too. She told us she didn't release the funds because we owed it and she didn't know what it was all about. I couidn't believe this. My husband went to talk to the manager. He realized these women (girls or whatever) had made major mistakes and he said he would take care of it. He tried to call my credit card co. but with all of the charges and things the 2 idiots had done, my card co. refused to release the hold on my card until 72 hours had passed and up to as long as a few months had passed we were told before they would reelase my card from being on hold. They thought I would be charged for the $800 and wouldn't release it. It took me another full week of calling and emailing daily several times a day to get this fixed. Finally I found a person who understood what happened and released the hold on my card. I almost got charged a lot of fees for this including having my credit report be informed I was late and over my limit.

Then instead of doing anything to make me feel better, the manager said we could have a free meal (our last night there and crummy food) and he would adjust off one day from the bill (the bill was paid by the City not me!!. I got nothing but mad!!!)

I have never been treated so badly by a hotel. This was a very nice looking place but underneath not so good either: The sheets were dirty the first night. Every day I had to call to get the necessary supplies refilled like: shampoo. towels, coffee, cream, lotion, everything. The bed was very soft at first. Then my back was killing me the rest of the time because it almost went to the floor when you laid down. It was so bad and bounced and the mattress almost slid off the end of the frame. We got charged over $30 for 2 drinks in the bar. We never ate there because it stunk. We had to walk to other places nearby (all too expensive) to eat lunch and drive to dinner.

Never have I had such a bad time. THIS HOTEL IS HORRIBLE. TELL EVERYONE!!!
