Located in the heart of Richardson, Breckinridge Park is a 379-acre nature area. The park has a softball complex, soccer fields, playgrounds, trails and a 10-acre lake.
It's a great place to take a fishing pole and bucket of worms, as the park's three ponds are stocked with bass, catfish, perch and crappie but only catch-and-release fishing is allowed. There is also plenty of shade with pavilions and several picnic tables available for picnicking, Of note is a beautiful gazebo, located off entrance B.
