2017 DFW Summer Boat Expo Arrives in July
What: DFW Summer Boat Expo is the largest boating event in North Texas. This show features more than 450 boat and watercraft models from over 20 North Texas boat dealers. The DFW Boat Expo is the place to for attendees to find their next boat or the accessories needed to better enjoy the on-water lifestyle. In order to make room for the 2018 models, financing options and aggressive pricing will be part of the expo. Who: The United Boat Dealers of North Texas produce the Boat Expo to support the boating and marine industry in the greater North Texas area and to educate boaters on safety and nautical innovations. The 2nd annual Texas Queerlesque Festival hits Dallas this summer. There will be over 60 performers, 6 headliners, unicorn school, networking socials, parties, vending, charity raffles. Queerlesque is the space where burlesque and cabaret-style performing arts meet the wild, vibrant, culturally rich Queer community. Queerlesque shows are fabulous spectacles of awesomeness created by, for, and about the queer community, and aim to provide a safe and supportive space for performers of all gender identities, sexual orientations, expressions, and styles.

3d Annual “It’s A Jungle Out There” benefit
Survivor contestants have to outwit, outlast and outplay to win. You, just get to buy a ticket! On August 25, you’ll have the opportunity to mix and mingle with many of your favorite former players from Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother and other reality TV shows. The 3d Annual “It’s A Jungle Out There” benefit will take place on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the historic Granada Theater. The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a red carpet pre-party for sponsors and VIP guests at The Sundown restaurant next door to the Granada. At 7:30pm, the doors of the Granada Theater will open to ticketed guests for an uplifting evening consisting of dinner, open bar, silent and live auction, dancing and inspiring performances from Cheer 4 Your Life teen beneficiaries. Leave the stilettos at home and wear anything from a sundress to dressy shorts and a fancy top with sandals or sneakers because we want you dancing! Anything that screams “jungle chic” will help you to look the part at this benefit.

The AGMC show consists of over 25+ VENDORS, Rockhounds, Geologists, Gemologists, Jewelry Artisans featuring custom designs, designer fine jewelry, stone Identification by a prominent G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist, faceted gemstones, Druzy, cabochons, special shaped stones, tons of rough stones, rocks, slabs, rare minerals, fossils, beads, metaphysical stones, arrowheads, carvings, sculptures, skulls, antlers, bones, petrified wood, glass fusion, enameled jewelry, crystals, himalayan salt lamps, rock/mineral home decor, steampunk designs, butterflies and mine from a MOBILE MINE. In addition, CLUB MEMBERS will be hosting a huge SILENT AUCTION every hour, demonstrating and competing in various geologic & artistic categories, explaining the perks of being in our Rockhound Family, and teaching ONSITE CLASSES. Abraham (A.B.) Quintanilla III has been part of the music business for most of his life. Born Dec 13, 1963 in Toppenish, WA, he started performing in the family business with Selena y Los Dinos in 1978. The band originally consisted of A.B., father Abraham Quintanilla Jr., sisters Suzette and Selena the sister who would become the very personification of tejano music to much of the world.
