Gilbert Cuellar Jr. and John Cuellar, two members of the Cuellar family that started the original El Chico in the 1940s, have opened Jessie's Cafe Texas in Mesquite (Nov. 2009). The homage to small-town dining includes a bar that looks like the inside of an Airstream trailer.
