North Mesquite Creek Preserve

This preserve was donated by the developers of the neighborhood. It is primarily a stop-over for migrating birds such as ducks and geese. The North Mesquite Creek Trail, which is an ADA concrete trail, is accessible from the neighborhood in the vicinity of Coppermeadow Drive or from Ruby Shaw Elementary School.
