Bear Creek Nature Park

In 2001 the City of Lancaster, in partnership with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, purchased 189 acres of rolling, wooded terrain graced with ponds and creeks with a vision founded on the developing the property to provide activities that complement the natural landscape, promote educational and ecological studies and enhance the quality of life for generations to come.
