Travel back in time to the days of the early Texas settlers during Pioneer Day, a living history celebration on the grounds of the historic Jack County Museum, former home of 4-H founder, Tom M. Marks. Folks dresssed in period costume will demonstrate activities of daily life in the Old West. There will be music, storytelling of historic events, a quilt display, a gun and arrowhead display, live animals, games, and fun for all. An authentic chuck wagon lunch and other refreshments will be available. Tour the museum with its many interesting exhibits, the log cabin with period furnishings, the ranch building, and see the antique farm equipment. The event is free and is an ideal way to show children what life was like for our ancestors. For more information, please visit our website www.jackcountymuseum.com Ya'll come!!
