Amy Serafin-Martinez’s diversified 13 year career in hairstyling has brought her to her own studio servicing a long following of clientele. When not in the studio, she travels all over DFW providing hairstyling and makeup for weddings, photo shoots and special events. In 2003 Serafin opened “A Bride to Be Hairstyling & Couture,” specializing in bridal hair styling. Amy believes hair and makeup are each true specialties. While in working on a BA in Finance, she became passionate about educating other hairstylists. She has managed a team of 21 stylists, traveled the country for continuing education and launched an amazing product line. When she opened Suavizar Salon, it became a hit within the 1st year, making headlines on NBC, CBS and WB. Amy has been featured on Daily Candy, D Beauty and in numerous write ups praising her unique concepts and approach. In 2009 she closed Suavizar to become independent once again. She still utilizes her exclusive, celebrity loved, Italian line she brought back from a trip to California. She feels it’s simply the best quality product.
