Marietta Patricia Leis: Green: a paradox of abundance and scarcity

New work by Marietta Patricia Leis will be on view in the Focus 2 Gallery of the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, January 6-February 25, 2012. An opening reception will be held Friday, January 6, 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Green is a multimedia exhibit inspired by Leis’ artist residency in northern Thailand. It is made up of written text plates, beeswax sculptures, paintings, and photos and videos. The work reflects the artist's concerns of wealth vs. want as they pervade the global culture.
