START YOUR ENGINES! THIRD ANNUAL TURKEY TRAX AUTORAMA COMING TO FORNEY

Come one, come all! The Forney EDC, the Historic Business District Focus Group and Unique Karz once again have joined forces to sponsor the Turkey Trax Autorama! The “ALL CLASSES” car show will be held on the streets of Downtown Forney starting at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday November 7, 2010. Main Street is the center for the fun family event, which includes food vendors, activities and live music. Unique Karz will once again rally hundreds of collector vehicles in many classes including 50’s, 60’s and 70’s favorites as well as Muscle Cars, Mustangs, Corvettes, Tricked-out Trucks and a perennial crowd pleaser; Low Riders.
Registration for all car, bike and cycle classes is $20, or $15 plus five non-perishable food items to be donated to the New Life Food Pantry in Forney. Prizes will be awarded in many categories, including the sought after “Mayors Choice.” Kids may enter their mini-models, bikes and pedal cars for FREE. Entry into the event as a spectator is also FREE, although we do ask that you bring a non-perishable food items too!
Live Entertainment this year features the Scott Whitaker Band. Whitaker, a resident singer, songwriter, has opened for numerous high profiled artists such as Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, and Le Ann Rimes. The weather is sure to be a perfect fall day, so be sure you join us to see the sights and sounds of Forney’s famous “Turkey Trax Autorama”! Remember - admission, parking and smiles are FREE.
