85 Speedway

This 1/4 mile, clay, semi-banked oval, is located in Ennis, Texas and is celebrating the track's 25th anniversary in 2010.

The track, owned and promoted by Roger and Wanda Archer, is the oldest racing facility in Ellis County, and is open from mid-March through October each season, racing primarily on Saturday nights.

The track is IMCA sanctioned, and is home to some of the best drivers in Texas. Racing is fast and exciting, and speeds can exceed 100 mph on this premier racing surface.

Regular classes include Twisters (ages 11-15), Cruisers, Bombers, IMCA Southern SportMods, and IMCA Modifieds. 85 Speedway also hosts additional classes throughout the season, such as the Lone Star Dwarf Club, Southern Street Stocks, and more.
