The Free Man

The idea behind The Free Man is to combine our great food, music, and atmosphere to make a new “destination” in the area.

We know that our first priority will be making the location work as a delicious eclectic style cajun cafe that will bring people into Deep Ellum from all over Dallas.

The day starts with a well priced lunch, with food to die over. This will be accompanied by singers and standards like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and we may mix in some “Martini Time” by Reverend Horton Heat, or “Time Bomb” by the Old 97’s. It will be a fun and interesting mix.

Come back in for Margarita Happy Hour from 4-7 PM with some of the most delectable appetizers yet to be invented.

Dinner will continue with singers and standards, but on certain nights we will have live piano, jazz trios, or groups like Ricki Derek performing from 7:30 - 9:30 pm.

@10:00 O’clock on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, hang on to your hats because you never know what alt-rock, alt-country, or just plain cool act will be checking in!
