In April of 2005, Craighead-Green Gallery moved from its Uptown location to a new home in the Design District. The new 5,500-square-foot location has more than four times the floor space of the former location and a ceiling that's at least twice as high, and gallery owners Kenneth Craighead and Steve Green now own their own property. Craighead and Green opened the gallery in the fall of 1992. Each July, the gallery holds the New Texas Talent show, a juried exhibition to promote emerging Texas artists.
