Katy Trail Ice House

This cavernous Uptown bar is quite the crowded, noisy scene. But it can also be mighty pleasant, especially at quieter times of day, and especially on the huge patio along the trail. That’s a fine place to sample one of the two dozen Texas beers on tap and some of the quite good bar food, ranging from the deep-fried jalapeño “bottle caps” and huge onion rings to the juicy burgers and slow-smoked barbecue.
