Nouveau 47 Theatre

Nouveau 47 is dedicated to staging new plays and relevant re-imagined adaptations of well-known plays. We believe in the alchemy of audience and artist, and forging future theatre by developing original and unproduced works. Rooted in the mission of Margo Jones and the Art Nouveau movement, we are devoted to nurturing artists and serving new audiences through plays and events that balance revolution and relevance, tradition and modernity.

In addition to quality theatre productions and original works, you can expect to see in-house improv/sketch comedy, live music, art installations, staged readings, and many other artistic endeavors at Nouveau 47. This exciting new theatre company is housed in the historic Margo Jones Theater at the Magnolia Lounge in Fair Park.
