If you're a fan of Kenny Bowers, chef-owner of Kenny's Wood Fired Grill, check out his new Kenny's Italian Kitchen, in the space that used to be De Tapas.
It's a neighborhood-style Italian red sauce place (no kidding; the pasta section of the menu leads off with "spaghetti and red sauce"). And it's red-checkered tablecloths all the way. But it's real cloth, says chef Bowers, "not the vinyl!" OK, then! Bowers is also bringing top-quality ingredients to the table, which means you might even want to order something fancy. Veal saltimbocca! Lobster fra diavolo! Brunello di Montalcino!
