Opened in early September 2010 in the old Good 2 Go Taco space.
Lunch tacos include brisket and pork from local producers Homestead Ranch and JuHa Ranch, and the bacon on sandwiches is Pederson's Natural Farms (Hamilton, Texas), made without sodium nitrates, nitrites or preservatives.
The menu will change seasonally, says Green Spot owner Bruce Bagelman. Not everything is local, but "the key is to know the source." The Green Spot Cafe has recently added pancakes on the weekend, with more changes to follow.
