Restaurant veterans, foodies, dynamic dudes – there are many ways to describe Shawn Horne & Flynn Dekker. But when you drill down to the meat and potatoes, they're just a couple of nice, fun guys with a knack for making good food.
It all started five years ago when Horne (Kitchen 1924, Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, York Street, Ferré, Abacus, Green Room) and Dekker (Fogo de Chão, MetroMedia Restaurant Group) struck up a friendship. Over time, their laid back personalities, love of food and vast experience blossomed into a restaurant concept.
Horne & Dekker serves up gourmet comfort food in an atmosphere that is never pretentious. Just take a look around, and you'll see these two guys don't take themselves too seriously. But one taste, and you'll see they don't mess around when it comes to the food.
The friendly priced menu is American with a few twists. Watermelon, pickled tomato and ricotta salata salad, seared duck breast and coconut cream pie are highlights. Full bar.
