Rafa's Cafe

Owner, Raphael Carreon, opened the original Raphael's restaurants in 1975 and Rafa's Cafe in 1994. Raphael's has been an institution in Dallas and in the Metroplex area ever since. Rafa's --the sister to Raphael's--continues the same Mexican family traditions, providing great Tex-Mex and Mexican specialty dishes. The menu ranges from popular nachos or fajitas to the exotic shrimp enchiladas or snapper a la Feliz. Rafa's also has a wide selection of carb-friendly items including choices of chicken, fish or vegetable dishes.

There is a full bar menu including Mexican and domestic beers, a variety of wine and super margaritas (a favorite is the "Top Shelf" margarita, the house specialty). And the TV's in the bar are always tuned into sports.

The dining rooms are cozy with bright and happy colors, giving the feel of a typical Mexico City cafe. Rafa's Cafe is very family oriented and child-friendly with a very relaxed and casual atmosphere.
