The Hacienda on Henderson

Here comes Hacienda on Henderson in the old Cuquita's space. The restaurant-bar will have its soft opening July 31, followed by a grand opening sometime in August.

The press release touts a big patio and says the spot will continue the late-night hours of Cuquita's. Chef Mike Dimas' menu will be Tex-Mex mingled with "authentic Mexican 'family' recipes."

Two of the owners, Patrick Tetrick and Chris Faulkner, also own the bar-restaurant Lotus, and Miles Zuniga also owns the Slip Inn and Vickery Park. That's probably a good indication of the vibe.
