Chef Yutaka Yamato has refashioned his Sharaku Sake Lounge (two doors from his Yutaka Sushi Bistro)into an izakaya – a Japanese tavern with lots of bar snacks, like a Japanese tapas bar or gastropub. He's added a Japanese charcoal grill, and the expanded menu will include kushiyaki (skewered morsels), kushiage (panko-breaded tidbits that are fried and threaded on skewers), shabu shabu and other izakaya treats.
