La Bodega Winery and Tasting Room

This tasting room is unique – not just because it's located in an airport but also because it produces its own wine on-site. The shop's display window functions as a working winery, with a pressing chamber and fermenting tanks. La Bodega produces a small amount of wine each year – currently blush, cabernet and merlot – which it sells here at the airport facility.
The grapes La Bodega uses to make that wine come from Texas – indeed, all the wine on sale here is produced in the Lone Star State.
You can try before you buy as well. La Bodega offers tastings at $1.50 for a one-ounce taste, or $4 for three one-ounce tastes. You can also buy wine by the glass (for between $4.95 and $6.95) or by the bottle.
La Bodega boasts a humidor and sells cigars as well as wine-related accessories – corkscrews, wine glasses and the like.
