Core24 Admin Awards

The Core24 2012 Admin Awards is the first program of its kind in Dallas -- an awards program and luncheon being held on October 9th that celebrates the important community of Administrative Assistants supporting companies operating in North Texas. This is a community that is extremely important to the business community and Dallas and has rarely, -- if ever, been acknowledged by the business community.
The Admin Awards, Presented by Delta Dallas, will recognize professionals in 8 categories, including… Show more Rookie of the Year, Community Champion and Achiever Award with the top award lauding the professional who embodies the “spiritâ€* and proficiency of perhaps the city’s most admired (former) admin, Colleen Barrett, President Emeritus of Southwest Airlines and former assistant to Herb Kelleher (airline’s founder).
“I’m excited to participate in the Admin Awards and fully support this event which celebrates the influence and importance of these professionals on Dallas’ business community,â€* Barrett said. “My passion for legendary customer service delivery and my administrative skills in my first business job (a legal secretary) allowed me to ultimately become a servant leader at SWA, and I believe that altruistic, talented, and customer-focused admin specialists share that passion and those skills. Nominations will be completed online through Core24inc.com and can be made by colleagues, employees, bosses and the administrative assistants themselves. An independent panel of judges comprised of sponsors, executives and other appointed officials will evaluate and identify finalists and winners.
