A very special Musical Event and Auction In Honor of Bugs Henderson
Several friends and guitar legends have announced they will be getting together at The Palladium Ballroom on Sunday, March 4 for BENEFIT BUGS, a musical event and auction to help Texas guitar legend, Bugs Henderson with his medical expenses and his fight against cancer. Bugs Henderson has been a Dallas-area Blues music institution since moving here from Tyler, TX. He came to Dallas in order to join the scene of a bar called The Cellar in the early 1970s. From there he moved on to playing theatres and arenas opening and playing with guitar icons including B.B. King, Freddie King, Ted Nugent and Eric Clapton. Many of the best blues guitarists like Clapton and King would go see Bugs play as they viewed him as one of the best. Guitar Player Magazine stated, “Bugs Henderson should be declared a national treasure.”
