You can walk on the wild side for less at the Dallas Zoo, thanks to Penguin Days, with $5 admission for everyone through the end of February. Cute as the penguins are, we think you’ll also get a kick out of exploring as much of the rest of the 106-acre zoo that you have energy for, from the reptiles in the herpetarium to the bugs in Bug U, not to mention all those glorious apes at the Jake L. Hamon Gorilla Conservation Research Station, and elephants and giraffes in the Giants of the Savanna area.
