Istanbul Grill Turkish Mediterranean Cuisine

I've eaten here before and really liked the food and this isn't about the food. It's about the way we were treated Friday night, I will never go back. We (4 adults one child) were lied to at least three time in a matter of 15 minutes, about sitting. After seeing we had a bag from McDonald's for our grandson and we told them that was w...ho the food was for, we were told to wait outside while they got a table ready. After waiting for some 5-10 minutes, I went back inside to see about our table and found nothing had been done. When another person(owner?) came over and said something about the sack we had and how if something was to happen , he would be responsible. Again I told him who it was for and that he wouldn't be responsible for anything. He said OK, that they would get us a table set up. Once they got the table sat up and my wife came in again with the sack. He met her at the door and told her she couldn't bring it in and she would have to leave. When I asked him why, after he told me he would seat us. He told me it was disrespectful to his restaurant . This was very embarrassing to all of us in my family. Now if there had been a sign on the door about bring in outside food, there wouldn't have been a problem. Or if he had told us that at the very beginning, again no problem. But he had to lie about it. Istanbul will never see anymore of my money and I will tell everybody I know about what happen and to boycott this place. This place is not kid friendly. Nor are they customer friendly with kids that haven't learn to eat different kinds of food yet. They do however lie to cash spending customers.
